Pembrokeshire Poultry is now under new ownership.
We are happy to take orders for chicks, pullets or hatching eggs or just give us a ring to see what we currently have in stock.
We have breeding groups of Chamois Poland Bantams, Pekins, Wyandottes, Leghorns, Silkies, Friesian, Jersey Giants, Sebrights, Ixworth, Dutch Bantams, Buff Plymouth Rock, Araucanas and Hybrid hens so please contact us for more details about our breeds or to place an order.
Please Note: We do sell chicks from day old upwards but please make sure you are aware of the extra care that very young chicks require. Chicks need a clean, dry, safe area to be kept under a heat lamp or other heat source as well as constant access to chick crumbs and water from a drinker suitable for day olds. We are happy to advise on what your chicks will require but it is best if you get your set up ready for your new chicks before collecting them.
It is also very important to remember that you will get on average 50% cockerels out of a batch of day old chicks. This could mean that you end up with more cockerels than you want or need! Please bear this in mind before you buy day old chicks or hatching eggs unless you are able to humanely dispatch any excess cockerels - sadly they are difficult to rehome as there are always far more than are needed.
