Transylvanian Naked Neck Bantams are the marmite of the chicken world - You either love them or hate them!

Naked Neck BantamThese chickens are very unusual looking and unique in that they have no feathering on their necks and just a small tuft of feathers on the top of their heads. Despite the lack of feathering they are hardy and enjoy free ranging.

Naked Necks can be crossed with silkies to create a silkie feathered chicken with a naked neck - these chickens are known as "Showgirls". Naked Necks are sometime referred to as Turkens in America so you may come across them described as Turkens on websites.
