Poland Bantams are found in a variety of colours including white crested black, white crested blue, self black, self white, silver laced, gold laced and chamois - which is essentially buff laced with white. They are also a breed in which frizzle feathering is regularly found- this is where the feathers are all curled towards the head, producing a very distinctive look.
We are breeders of Chamois Poland Bantams which are a mainly ornamental breed with a characteristic crest. They are one of the oldest crested breeds, first being mentioned in the 16th Century. Poland Bantams are also often called Polish bantams. 
Poland Bantams are known for being friendly and easily tamed. Our hens come when they are called and follow me around like puppies. The crests should be checked regularly as they would make a great home for mites. Chamois Polands are good layers of small, white eggs.
